Metamorphosis of a Bank employee into a successful entrepreneur
Dev Dhingra, hailing from the city of Chandigarh was always passionate and determined of achieving an extraordinary feat. After graduating in Pharmacy, he further pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from AUT (Auckland University of Technology). Before becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs in New Zealand, Dev worked as Business Development Manager in ASB bank from 2006 to 2012.
During his tenure in ASB, he was part of an initiative that involved starting the first Indian segment as part of the migrant banking division. In the year 2012, Dev founded Fundmaster in a small garage in Pakuranga and it’s his sheer talent that earned him today the reputation of an award-winning entrepreneur. He is ranked amongst the top adviser by NZ Adviser magazine in 2019.
Dev fosters profound knowledge in credit & strategic planning, retail & commercial banking, relationship management and that’s the major reason for Fundmaster’s success in the insurance as well as mortgage markets.
Mr. Dhingra in an interview said he owed his success to different pathbreaking moments in his life. His hard work, excellent hold on financial products, and of course support from his family, friends as well as acquaintances led him towards the path of glory.
